Customer segmentation is always a hot topic, but the volumes of data about customers is always growing. This presentation will illustrate a simple but powerful way to combine assigning atomic segments to a population along with calculating KPIs for that population, in order to create micro-segments with behavior data that can be trended over time, and generate alerts based on actual data.

Susan Earley has spent the last 25 years working in data management in various ways, starting with application development, data warehouse development and management, data modeling, and data architecture.

She was the Assistant Editor for the DAMA-DMBOK released in 2009 and the editor for the 2011 edition of the DAMA Dictionary of Data Management. She was the production editor for the DAMA-DMBOK2.
