Data Governance is becoming even more necessary in the world of Big Data as data volumes, velocities, and varieties continuously grow. The inherent risks in this space require formal data governance practices to serve as a mitigant. In my presentation I will provide an overview of how I have successfully approached mobilizing/implementing Data Governance. The goal of this overview is to provide the audience with tangible takeaways that can be leveraged as they work towards establishing a Data Governance Program to support their institutions.

Kenneth's primary management areas of focus include; Data Warehousing, Data Quality, Data Governance, Big Data, and Business Intelligence. He is driven to deliver powerful data management solutions in support of generating corporate revenue. In his current role at Equifax, Kenneth leads a team that is responsible for the Management and Quality of all Integrated US Consumer Data Assets. This includes; managing data as a corporate asset, ownership of the data factory process, ensuring the quality of data, and executing a sound data governance program.
