Recent years have seen an explosion of technologies for managing, processing and analyzing graphs, popularized by leading social web properties like Facebook and LinkedIn. Graph databases are a well-known tool for managing the social graph. But outside the limelight of the popular social networks, more than 30 of the Global 2000 have in the past 18 months quietly deployed open source graph technologies like Neo4j in production in a broad range of business critical use cases.

This session will investigate the Five Graphs of Telecommunications and explore the most popular Telco use cases for graph databases, exemplified by actual production deployments from leading telecommunications companies. From dependency analysis on the network graph, to churn reduction on the call graph, to root cause analysis on equipment failure and beyond, we will dive into real world case studies from leading telcos and discuss how they're using a graph database within their enterprise.

You will leave this session with an appreciation for and understanding of how graph technologies can be applied telecommunications.
