S3: Advanced Data Modeling Challenges Workshop

After you are comfortable with data modeling terminology and have built a number of data models, often the way to continuously sharpen your skills is to take on more challenging assignments.

In this workshop you will take on several challenges including:

Using abstraction during conceptual data modeling and still keeping it real
Leveraging free resources from the Web to create starter models
Comparing and determining when to use Information Engineering (IE), Integrated Definition for Information Modeling (IDEF1X), Unified Modeling Language (UML), Fully Communication Oriented – Information Modeling (FCO-IM), anchor modeling, and data vault

Steve Hoberman has trained more than 10,000 people in data modeling since 1992.
