The traditional uses of data modeling software include relational models and star schemas. Beyond that foundation, however, there are other ways to use modelling software to communicate other data-related aspects of a solution or portfolio.
We will explore use cases that have led to non-traditional deliverables such as: - Report and interface catalogs
- Application specific views of master data across a portfolio
- Transformation of data across layers of a data warehouse and more!
Chris Ragan has been with Shell for over 30 years in a variety of IT project and support roles. As a lead data architect she has represented global functions such as HR and finance and currently represents Shell Trading. She is certified as a CDMP and also certified in TOGAF enterprise architecture framework. Originally from Indiana, she is based in Houston.
